Today, we went to the aquarium for the first time. Yay underwater parasites!
Check out that quintessential palm tree. |
Of course I included a full body shot of my outfit for all you voyeurs. :P
Because I like to huddle in corners and watch things move around me.
This needs some explanation. They manage to cut a hole in the shark egg and put a window on it so we can watch the baby sharks grow. They actually SWIM AROUND in the egg as they're babies, it's super creepy/cool.
My interpretation of a mermaid. ^^;
Once again, I like to huddle in small, dark places.
I can imagine these two looking at an elderly gentleman and commenting on his mismatched top hat and monocle. Because, yes- I DO believe that all walruses are born with a top hat and a monocle. They just hide them in public view.
Shark! Whether you're looking at its eyes, its sandpaper skin, or those teeth, these things are creepy/cool.
I cannot explain to you how HUGE this guys was. He was intrigued by the red light on my camera and came down to investigate.
See? HUUUGE. One of those things that make you go "Why does that exist anywhere?!" ... sleep well, my children.
This frog was sooo cute! He was asleep with his arms tucked under his head and a huge grin on his face. I took like five photos of him, he was soooo cuuute!

My purple lipstick was wearing off, but you get the picture. <3!

Awe, I miss going to this place. The last time I was there was... two years ago I think. I'm due for a visit!
WALRUSES! :3
Also, you are so very photogenic!
I had never been there before, it's expensive! I bought tickets for my friend and I, but he couldn't go so I went with my mom. It was really nice there though, made me miss living in Long Beach. <3!
SaryWalrus- my goodness, someone who shares my view! :D
Thank you, you are too kind. :3 <3!

Lovely photos!
Anonymous- You are entirely correct. I've just been so busy, I haven't posted my photos in a while.
Spooky Vegan- Thank you. I'm a Scorpio which is a water sign, and I've always felt connected to the sea. Perhaps I was a gothic mermaid in a past life. :P <3!
This used to be my favorite place when I was little :3 My first career choice was to be a marine biologist. I've always been a nerd haha. Pretty girl with pretty sea creatures
Awh, just the thought of little Jessica puts a smile on my face. :D
I could definitely see you taking care of the animals. <3!
